Submersible Mixers

The 4600 series of mixers features eight different sized direct drive, stainless steel mixers. Motor capacities range from 0.75 to 25 kW for 50Hz and 0.9 to 30 kW for 60Hz (1.5 hp to 40 hp).

Three different construction materials are available:

• General purpose stainless steel (ASTM 304)
• hi-grade stainless steel (ASTM 316L)
• proacid (ASTM S31254)

The optional jet ring increases efficiency and thereby reduces power consumption.

Submersible mixers have a specific advantage in applications such as solids suspension and liquid blending.

Mixers can be found in wastewater treatment plants, pulp mills, off-shore drilling rigs, farms, chemical processing plants, breweries, mines, steelworks and many more.

The 4410 & 4430 series of mixers features alternative motor capacities of up to 4.3 kW for 50Hz and 4.6 kW for 60Hz (6.2 hp), together with different gear ratios and propeller diameters of up to 2.5m (98 3/8 in), optimised selections for each application can be provided.

Slow speed submersible mixers are used for moving large volumes of low viscosity liquids.

Typical applications include wastewater treatment plants, lagoons, water reservoirs, ice prevention, chemical processing plants, breweries and others.

The Flyjet & Hydrojet series of mixers can be used whenever there is a need for economical cleaning of basins and storage chambers in sewage plants. They are particularly suited to automatic cleaning of tanks used for storm water retention, overflows and collection reservoirs.
