High precision reflects well on C&A
C&A—as a supplier and installer of their range of level
detection systems—were approached by Vega Control Ltd to ask if we
could manufacture a set of radar reflectors required by a pharmaceutical
company. These would be used to measure product within their centrifuges,
and to do so had to be polished to an optical quality of 0.8µm to
ensure the quality of the signal and for cleaning purposes.
We quoted and successfully won the order to supply six of these
prototype instrument mountings, and in fact exceeded the specified
polish-level and quality requirements.
This project demonstrates the ability of our workforce to achieve
and exceed the quality requirements of our customer in producing
equipment which they had previously been unable to source from a UK
manufacturer.
