C&A solve Fire Brigade effluent

C&A Pumps have recently carried out the replacement of a failed biological treatment plant at Seal Sands Fire Station, and have refurbished the pumping station that supplies the raw effluent from the station.

The work entailed:

• Removal by crane of the original equipment
• Refurbishment of the pumps at our works
• Design & installation of a modern treatment plant
• New access ladder, hand-railing and decking
• New control panel and alarm system
• Commissioning, maintenance and laboratory testing of the treated effluent
