C&A Satisfy Weight Expectations

C&A were asked to modify an ex-Ministry of Defence bridge for use on a Yorkshire landfill site. This work involved increasing the bridge's carrying capacity to 70 tonnes from its original 50 tonnes, allowing it to accommodate the Volvo loaders used by the customer.

Working on site, C&A's fabrication department installed additional supports and heavy-duty steel plates to the thirteen metre long bridge, bringing it up to specification.
