As a licensed provider of IOSH training on behalf of the ECITB and IOSH, C&A decided that we would encourage our operational work force to take the IOSH Managing Safely qualification, which has already been a great success with our team leaders and design apprentices. C&A Innovation

During 2009 C&A performed the first of fifteen pump refurbishments called for as part of Northumbrian Water Ltd's Lustrum Beck CSO scheme on Teesside. The Lustrum Beck CSO scheme was initiated by NWL's Operations Department, who were seeing regular issues with the long-shaft pumps used to remove excess floodwater from the sewer system into a nearby watercourse. C&A Fabrication undertook work to modify an ex-Ministry of Defence bridge for use on a Yorkshire landfill site. The work involved reinforcing the bridge to allow it to carry much higher loads than it was originally capable of. Regents Park - Pumping Station Refurbishment
C&A Pumps were asked by Walter Lilly to provide a design solution for an existing sewerage and surface-water pumping station located within a prestigious Regents Park property. C&A carried out a full station refurbishment - replacing four pumps and all associated pipe-work and installing a new control panel. Tyne Dock – Dust Suppression
The coal operator at Tyne Dock was facing increasing issues with the coal dust produced by their twenty-two metre high, four hundred metre long coal conveyor, and decided that a water dust-suppression system was required. Heugh Gun Battery
